Nicola Cheshire (BSc Hons in Acupuncture)

Since graduating with a First-Class BSc honours in Acupuncture I have practised at my Lincoln based clinic, alongside teaching clinical skills to future acupuncture practitioners undertaking their studies at Lincoln College.

Traditional Chinese acupuncture is an ancient practice that follows the core principles of balancing the body’s energy, known as Qi, by inserting hair-thin needles at points along the body. Acupuncture has evolved into a comprehensive system and applied with western physiology knowledge, I am able to tailor individual treatments to treat both symptoms and the root cause. This may also involve using other techniques such as gua sha, cupping, moxibustion and electro acupuncture.

Acupuncture is used for conditions such as chronic pain, migraines and headaches, chronic fatigue, menopausal symptoms, gynaecological and women’s health issues, insomnia, mental health issues, digestive problems and much more.
